Ronseal's High-Performance Wet Rot Wood Hardener penetrates deep into the wood to stop wet rot from spreading and to make your wood hard again. It dries in 2 hours to a rock-hard base that can be filled and repaired. Ideal for use on exterior or interior doors, windows, and frames.

Preparation
Remove loose or crumbling wood and ensure the area is dry, drill small holes into the wood so the hardener can penetrate the wood.
Application
We recommend performing a test to ensure compatibility with the surface, always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging.
- Wear protective gloves to avoid getting hardener on your skin. Open your doors and windows for added ventilation.
- Give the tin a good shake before you start.
- Pour some of the hardener into the plastic lid and apply using a paint brush.
- Ensure to thoroughly soak the area of rotten wood and leave to dry for 2 hours.
- Once dry scrub with a wire brush to get rid of any excess hardener.
