Made in USA. Angelus 2-Hard is a hardening additive used with Angelus Leather Paint to make the paint more durable on non-porous surfaces like plastic, vinyl, and other hard materials. It helps the paint adhere better and prevents cracking or peeling.

HOW TO USE:
1. Prepare the Surface:
Clean the surface of the item you plan to paint to remove any dirt, dust, or oils. Use a suitable cleaner depending on the material. Make sure the surface is dry before applying the paint.

2. Mix the Paint and 2-Hard:
In a mixing container, combine Angelus 2-Hard with Angelus Leather Paint in a 1:1 ratio. For example, if you’re using 1 ounce of paint, add 1 ounce of 2-Hard. Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the 2-Hard is evenly distributed in the paint.

3. Apply the Mixture:
Use a paintbrush or airbrush to apply the mixed paint to the non-porous surface. Apply thin, even coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Multiple thin coats will help ensure an even finish and prevent cracking.

4. Drying Time:
Let each coat dry for about 15-30 minutes. The drying time can vary depending on the environment. Once you’ve applied the final coat, allow the item to dry completely. It’s best to let it sit for at least 24 hours to ensure the paint fully adheres and hardens.

5. Curing:
For added durability, you can heat-set the painted surface after it’s completely dry. Use a heat gun or hairdryer on a low setting, holding it a few inches away from the surface. Move the heat source evenly over the painted area to avoid overheating any spots.

6. Finishing (Optional):
If desired, you can apply a protective finish like Angelus Acrylic Finisher to seal the paint and provide extra protection against wear and tear.

TIPS:
1. Spot Test: Always do a small test on an inconspicuous area to ensure the mixture adheres well to the surface.

2. Clean Tools Immediately: Clean your brushes or airbrush immediately after use to prevent the paint from hardening in them.

3. Non-Porous Surfaces Only: Angelus 2-Hard is designed for hard, non-porous surfaces, so it’s not necessary for use on leather or other porous materials.
